Description
Our task here is to familiarize listeners with foundational biblical prayers upon which to build their prayer lives. The goal is personal prayer, both individual and corporate, that develops out of biblical prayer. The Psalms and the Lord's Prayer are the basic texts, supplemented by other biblical prayers. Eugene H. Peterson is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College. He has written numerous books, authored a commentary on the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, and translated the Bible (The Message) into contemporary English.
