Reading is a core activity for Christians. God has revealed himself in a book and so we reach for a book to know Him. In this lecture Eugene Peterson explores the pressing concern of how we read the Bible with an emphasis on the Lectio Divina tradition of Scripture reading.
Eugene H. Peterson is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College. He has written numerous books, authored a commentary on the books of 1 & 2 Samuel, and translated the Bible (The Message) into contemporary English.
