Description
Again and again the New Testament authors speak of "The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." This emphasis makes sense given the fact that Jesus is self-consciously "the Son". Jesus' call to discipleship and ministry is to follow him into that same filial relationship, so that our lives and ministries also flow from that same knowing, loving, trusting. This series explores three biblical texts in which Jesus reveals his "God and Father".
Darrell W. Johnson is Senior Minister at First Baptist Church in Vancouver and former Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College. Before coming to Regent he served for 30 years as Preaching Pastor for churches in the United States and the Philippines. He continues to teach as a sessional lecturer at Regent College.
