Description
This course is an introduction to the art of spiritual discernment,
which enables individuals to recognize and respond to the prompting or
inner witness of the Spirit. The course provides a model for effective
decision-making that incorporates the wisdom of the Christian heritage,
and investigates the corporate dimensions of discernment and
decision-making and the role of the spiritual mentor. The topics

Gordon T. Smith (PhD, Loyola School of Theology,
Ateneo de Manila University) is President of Overseas Council Canada
and former Academic Vice President/Dean and Associate Professor of
