Description

This mini-series consists of the lectures that Maxine Hancock gave as a portion of the 2006 Regent College Pastor's Conference: Movements of Grace.
Looking over the shoulders of Jeremiah, Peter, and the disciples gathered in the Upper Room, we will consider three key "conversions" or transformational understandings that the Christian leader needs to embrace in order to be set free for life-long ministry. These sessions will provide participants with the opportunity for thoughtful reflection on the scriptures with a view towards understanding and embracing the transformation the Spirit may be urging us towards as we follow Jesus' call into glad-hearted ministry.

Maxine Hancock is Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. Among her other books are several on family relationships, including Living on Less and Liking in More, Re-evaluating Your Commitments, and Creative, Confident, Children. And notably, her work on Bunyan in A Key in the Window: Marginal Notes in Bunyan's Narratives.
