Description
This course on the Book of Psalms aims to edify the student by exegeting selected psalms. The course also provides the student with background information to guide the student into a life time of enriching their appreciation of the Psalms and, for some, to use the Psalms to edify others. The background information focuses on various methods of interpreting the Psalms.
Bruce Waltke is Professor Emeritus in Old Testament Studies at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the author of Genesis: A Commentary, Creation and Chaos, Finding the Will of God: A Pagan Notion?, An Introduction to Biblical Hebrew Syntax, and commentaries on Micah. He also served on the translation committee of the NIV Bible.
