Description

Responding to influential worldviews such as the New Scientific Age (associated with the New Atheists) which categorize the biblical narrative as untrue, not good, and unusable, Iain Provan argues that in order to respond well to differing perspectives about life, the universe, and everything, Christians need to be better informed about the Christian faith, its history, and criticisms against it. By way of example Provan addresses the question, Is biblical monotheism dangerous?, focusing on God's character displayed in the Old Testament and the Old Testament authors' understanding of God's character.
