Peter Berger is Professor Emeritus of Religion, Sociology and Theology, as well as Director of the Institute for the Study of Economic Culture and Director of the Institute on Religion and World Affairs at Boston University. He is author of many books, including Dialogue Between Religious Traditions in an Age of Relativity, Facing Up to Modernity: Excursions in Society, Politics and Religion, and The Social Construction of Reality: A Treatise in the Sociology of Knowledge (with Thomas Luckmann).
