He is the author of numerous articles and three books including Soul Recreation: The Contemplative-Mystical Piety of Puritanism and with Alec Ryrie, Puritanism and Emotion in the Early Modern World. He takes great delight in introducing others to the rich spiritual treasures of the Puritans.
