Description
What does it mean to be human?
The dehumanizing effects of technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence make it crucial that we answer this question well. A new awareness of the kingdom of God, built through greater cross-cultural understanding and communication, guards us against dehumanization and leads to a richer appreciation of the Christian faith.
Lectures include:
A "The Imago Dei" in All Humanity (Note: there were technical difficulties with the first part of this lecture. We have worked to recover the audio from our backup room mic. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.)
B The Apocryphal Gospels as Communicating Jesus Transculturally
C The Jewish Paul and the Transcultural Jewish Christians in Later Cultures
D The Inter-dialogue of Christians and Muslims (Dr. Mark Anderson)
E Japanese and Western Mutual Cultural Enrichment of Christian Life
