Description
Translating the Bible requires attention both to the original text of Scripture and the target audience. Changes in the way people around the world speak and hear English are sometimes not factored into translation as much as they need to be. In this lecture, we will analyze some of these changes and discuss new techniques to help translators meet the goal of enabling English speakers to hear and appreciate the enduring message of God's Word.
