T. Desmond Alexander is Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Union Theological College in Belfast, UK. Previously he was Lecturer in Semitic Studies at the Queen's University of Belfast. He is author of many books, including From Paradise to the Promised Land: An Introduction to the Pentateuch, Discovering Jesus: Four Gospels - One Person, and The New Dictionary of Biblical Theology.

Lindsay Farrell is Senior Lecturer in the Visual Arts at Australian Catholic University and maintains his own art practice as a painter, exhibiting widely in Australia and overseas.

Michael Battle is Provost and Canon Theologian at the Cathedral Center of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. He is founder of the PeaceBattle Institute and served as Rector of Church of Our Saviour in Los Angeles. While he served as a research fellow in residence with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, he was ordained by the archbishop in Cape Town, South Africa. He is author of several books, including Black Battle, White Knight: The Authorized Biography of Malcolm Boyd, Blessed are the Peacemakers: A Christian Spirituality of Nonviolence, and The Wisdom of Desmond Tutu.

Paul Spilsbury Dr. Spilsbury, who holds a PhD in early Christian and Jewish history and literature from the University of Cambridge, is a graduate of Regent College (Master of Christian Studies, 1990). After completing his doctoral work, Dr. Spilsbury joined the faculty of Canadian Bible College in Regina, Saskatchewan, where he became Professor of New Testament, and was an integral part of the early formation and development of Ambrose University in Calgary. He joined the Regent College faculty in August 2015 as Academic Dean and Professor of New Testament.nnDr. Spilsbury's teaching and research interests include New Testament studies, the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, and Christian thinkers from the first few Christian centuries. He has authored two books, The Image of the Jew in Flavius Josephus' Paraphrase of the Bible (Mohr Siebeck, 1998), and The Throne, the Lamb and the Dragon: A Reader's Guide to the Book of Revelation (InterVarsity, 2002). He is co-author of Judean Antiquities 8-10: Translation and Commentary (Brill, 2005); has published numerous book chapters, articles, and reviews; and has travelled extensively throughout the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries associated with the ancient church. He is also a frequent speaker at churches, retreats, and conferences.nnPaul Spilsbury is married to Bronwynu2014a pastor with the Christian and Missionary Allianceu2014and they have two sons, Elliot and Oliver.

Ralph C. Wood is University Professsor of Theology and Literature at Baylor University. There he has taught award-winning courses that are devoted to the relation of Christian faith to imaginitive literature. He is the author of The Comedy of Redemption: Christian Faith and Comic Vision in Four American Novelists., Contending for the Faith: The Church's Engagement with Culture, The Gospel According to Tolkien: Visions of the Kingdom in Middle-earth and Flannery O'Connor and the Christ-Haunted South.

Susan S. Phillips is Executive Director and Professor of Christianity and Sociology at New College Berkeley (an affiliate of the Graduate Theological Union in California). Susan is keenly interested in how engaging the caring practices will shape us spiritually. She is a certified spiritual director (Mercy Center, Burlingame, California) and has practised spiritual direction since the early 1990s. She edited (with Patricia Benner) The Crisis of Care and her most recent book is Candlelight: Illuminating the Art of Spiritual Direction.
