Product DetailsDescriptionAs disciples of Jesus Christ we seek to have our whole lives shaped by His Word. We want a Word-shaped understanding of the Triune God, what it means to be a human, ethics, morality, economics and politics. We want a Word-shaped relationship with the Triune God. This course, through lecture, daily times alone, and small group time, explores what it means to submit our praying (a) to the Psalms, (b) to the prayers of Jesus, and (c) to the prayers of the apostle Paul, then suggests a way to pray in concert with all three 'tutors'. Darrell W. Johnson is Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College. He has previously served as Theological Mentor for the DMin Program at Fuller Theological Seminary and as Preaching Pastor of Glendale Prebyterian Church in Glendale, CA. |
