Description
This mini-series consists of the lectures that Larry Crabb gave as a portion of the 2006 Regent College Pastor's Conference: Movements of Grace.
What gets in the way of Spirit-empowered leadership is rarely conscious intent. Hidden agendas arising from unrecognized personal issues are more often the problem. But pastors are rightly concerned that an "inside look" may strengthen self-obsession and interfere with strong leadership. If engaged, however, with biblical categories for self-understanding and in sync with the Spirit's purpose and power, "paying close attention to yourself" (I Timothy 4:16) can liberate leaders from hidden self-obsession to lively God-obsession.
