Description
While the Renaissance gave us magnificent images that are stunning to look at, the icon tradition produces images that look at us and invite us into a life of radical transformation in Christ. Icons radiate the Uncreated Light, engaging those who pray and worship with the presence of the incarnate God. We will study icons of various saints, as well as icons that portray the chief events of Christ's life.
