Deborah Grey is a former Canadian Member of Parliament from Alberta for the Reform Party of Canada, Canadian Alliance and Conservative Partyof Canada. Shortly after retiring, she published her autobiography, Never Retreat, Never Explain, Never Apologize: My Life and My Politics. In 2007, she was made an Officer of the Order of Canada. In 2013, she was appointed to the Security Intelligence Review Committee, and along with that appointment, was made a Privy Councillor, giving her the title, "The Honourable". Before becoming a politician, she worked as a teacher in a number of rural Alberta communities.

Maxine Hancock is Professor Emerita of Interdisciplinary Studies and Spiritual Theology at Regent College. Among her books are several on family relationships, including Living on Less and Liking in More, Re-evaluating Your Commitments and Creative, Confident, Children, as well as a study on John Bunyan in A Key in the Window: Marginal Notes in Bunyan's Narratives. She received the Word Guild's Leslie K. Tarr Award in 1990 for her contribution to Christian writing in Canada, and the Leading Women's Award in Communications and Media in 2004 for her leadership in communicating the Christian faith in Canada.

R. Paul Stevens is Professor Emeritus of Marketplace Theology at Regent College. He is the author of Liberating the Laity, Disciplines of the Hungry Heart, The Other Six Days, Marriage Spirituality, Doing God's Business and co-editor (with Robert J. Banks) of The Complete Book of Everyday Christianity.

Rod Wilson is former President and Professor of Counselling and Psychology at Regent College. He is the author of Counseling and Community and How Do I Help a Hurting Friend?, as well as the co-author of Exploring Your Anger and Helping Angry People.
