Description
Nicholas Wolterstorff challenges two misconception of justice - the notion of justice mainly proposed by John Locke, and the mis-translation of 'justice' in the English-speaking world as 'righteousness'. He instead proposes an understanding of justice grounded in the Hebrew understanding of the word 'Shalom' with strong connotations of 'flourishing' as the right trajectory. He then shows how this understanding is inseparable from the worshipping life of the church.
