Christie Goode explores the influence of television on shaping the N.A. experience of time in a linear fashion & links that structure of time to a dehumanization of society. However, another linear alternative is porvided from a Judeo-Christian worldview that creates a cyclical momentum constantly bringing us back to the Sabbath which regularly reaffirms the creating & redeeming work of God. Within this framework we are allowed to slow down & live within the healthy, life-affirming boundaries of being human.
