Hearing Hebrews: Fresh Thoughts for Critical Times from Regent Audio on Vimeo.
The New Testament Book of Hebrews, which deals with perspective and perseverance in difficult times, stands as one of the most needed ancient writings for the modern church. The book, an early Christian sermon that unpacks Jesus’s fulfillment of the Old Testament, can also be hard to follow and understand. Yet, in the past three decades, fresh scholarship on Hebrews has helped unlock its message. This lecture presents an examples of recent research to show the relevance of this beautiful book for critical times in the modern world.
