Sir Henry Fredrick Ross Catherwood is the former Director General of the United Kingdom's National Economic Development Council, and former president of the Evangelical Alliance. He was elected as a Conservative member of the European Parliament for Cambridgeshire and related areas from 1979-1994. He was also Vice President of the European Parliament from1989-1992. He is the author of The Christian in Industrial Society, It Can be Done, and The Creation of Wealth: Recovering a Christian Understanding of Money, Work, and Ethics.
