Description
This course will engage in a close study of those scriptural passages that highlight God's transforming energies in the community of the faithful and in the world. Special attention will be given to the transfiguration narratives of the synoptics, the theme of glory in the fourth gospel and select passages from Romans, 2 Corinthians, Ephesians, the Petrine epistles, the Johannine epistles, and the book of Revelation, as well as ancient and contemporary meditation and commentary upon these sections. Lectures include:
