He is author of many books, including The Lost World of Scripture: Ancient Literary Culture and Biblical Authority, Genesis 1 as Ancient Cosmology, The Lost World of Genesis 1: Ancient Cosmology and the Origins Debate, and Ancient Near Eastern Thought and the Old Testament.
