Darrell W. Johnson is Senior Minister at First Baptist Church in Vancouver and former Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Regent College. Before coming to Regent he served for 30 years as Preaching Pastor for churches in the United States and the Philippines. He continues to teach as a sessional lecturer at Regent College.

Description
As disciples of Jesus Christ we seek to have our whole lives shaped by His Word. We want a Word-shaped understanding of the Triune God, what it means to be a human, ethics, morality, economics and politics. We want a Word-shaped relationship with the Triune God. This course, through lecture, daily times alone, and small group time, explores what it means to submit our praying (a) to the Psalms, (b) to the prayers of Jesus, and (c) to the prayers of the apostle Paul, then suggests a way to pray in concert with all three 'tutors'.
