Description
Serious historical study of Jesus has taken a new course in the latter part of this century. This series re-examines the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) in dialogue with this movement and attempts to reconstruct the main lines of Jesus' aims and preaching. In light of this historical reconstruction, Dr. Wright also considers what might be the appropriate hermeneutics in making the life of Jesus applicable to today's church.
