Jesus is not simply a present reality. If He were we could push and pull Him this way and that and turn Him into whatever guru we want at the moment. N.T Wright asks who was Jesus in first century Palestine? What was His agenda? Why on earth did He get executed? What, so soon after His death, caused His followers to come up with such fantastic claims about Him? These questions and more will be examined as Wright explores the historical Jesus.
