The Shape of Family: Love, Belonging, and COVID-19 from Regent Audio on Vimeo.
Lecture Description: Our culture, including evangelical church culture, often pays more attention to the nuclear family than to other forms of relationships. In the age of COVID-19, attentiveness to the family circle has intensified as households mark out safe boundaries for connection. Yet many others remain outside and disconnected. This lecture will turn to history to probe the shape of past families and explore historical experiences of love and belonging. It will propose hopeful and healing ways through which we can choose to retrace the lines that connect and separate us all.
