The Mission of the Church to Bear God's Name from Regent Audio on Vimeo.
Churches don't usually start at Sinai when formulating their mission, but I believe that's exactly where we should go. We'll take a close look at the command not to bear God's name in vain (Exodus 20:7) in light of its literary, historical, and theological contexts. Together we'll re-envision the vocation of God's people to represent him among the nations and we'll consider what that might look like today.
