Marcus J. Borg is a fellow of the Jesus Seminar and former Hundere Distinguished Professor of Religion and Culture at Oregon State University, a position from which he retired in 2007. He is author of many books, including Evolution of the Word: The New Testament in the Order the Books Were Written, Reading the Bible Again for the First Time: Taking the Bible Seriously but Not Literally, Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time, and The Meaning of Jesus: Two Visions (with N.T. Wright).
