Augustine of Hippo is a monumental figure in Christian thought, a wonderfully gifted Christian with an incredible literary output. This series attempts to do some justice to the man and his writings by considering him, and them, "in the round." Attention will be given to his rich and varied thinking as it expresses itself in different situations to varied audiences, in letters, sermons, tracts, and controversial writings, as well as his better known works.
