In this present age both the world and the church have been experiencing loss of authority. Is it still reasonable to submit to biblical authority, and is it wholesome to do so? By what principles can we reliably interpret the Bible? How shall we handle its cultural conditioning and our own? How can we lay solid foundations for Christian thinking? These are the kind of questions dealt with in this course.
Lectures include:
- Christ and Biblical Authority
- God's People Under Authority
- Basics of Biblical Interpretation
- Scripture and Culture
- Foundations for Christian Thinking
