Terms and Conditions
By purchasing Regent Audio titles you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of use:
Copying and Distributing Regent Audio Recordings
What is allowed
- Making copies of our materials for PERSONAL USE ONLY:
You are permitted to record onto CD, cassette tape, mp3 player or any other recordable media your purchased lectures for personal listening and backup purposes only. We do permit lending of these materials to other persons with the expressed intention of having them return it to you after they have listened to the lecture(s). In such situations we do ask that you please inform the person receiving the materials where they can purchase a copy for themselves (i.e., tell them about the Regent Audio or Bookstore website). You are not allowed to "lend" the mp3 files. - Playing the recordings in a Bible study, church meeting, or any other free public meeting:
You are permitted to play the recordings in a public setting as long as no fee is being charged and the meeting is not being recorded or broadcast in any way, shape or form. If the situation is appropriate we would ask you to consider giving a small "plug" for the Regent Audio website so others can know where to purchase the lecture(s). - Placing a copy in a church or public library:
We do permit our recordings to be borrowed in a library setting, providing they have been purchased by or for the library only. Placing personal copies in a library is not allowed, unless the individual donates the recording to the library.
What is NOT allowed:
- Making copies of our materials for distribution to friends, family or any other persons:
You are NOT permitted to record onto CD, cassette tape, mp3 player, DVD or any other recordable media your purchased lectures for distribution to any other persons other than yourself. - Distribution in any way, shape or form using the Internet:
You are not permitted to post or share our materials on the Internet. This is strictly prohibited. You may not post our mp3 files to a web, ftp, news site or service. You may not share them using file-sharing software or website of any kind. You may not use our materials in a podcast. You may not distribute our materials using e-mail. - Playing of our recordings over any kind of mass media:
You are not permitted to broadscast our materials through radio, TV, Internet streaming broadcasting or for mass distribution on CD, tape, DVD or nay other recordable media without first asking for and receiving permission from Regent Audio. - Playing of our recordings in a meeting where a fee is being charged:
If you are charging a fee for a conference, lecture or any other type of public gathering you are not permitted to use our materials without first asking for and receiving permission from Regent Audio.
Refunds and Returns:
In general, we do not offer refunds. Due to the ease of electronic duplication of files, it is quite possible to return media while continuing to access the content purchased. We have chosen instead to offer Regent Audio sermons, lectures and courses at very reasonable prices, and trust that you will find them beneficial for both your mind and heart. However, we are willing to evaluate special requests on a case by case basis.
However, we recognize that there are cases where more consideration is due. Please email us at [email protected] to request a refund within 30 days of purchasing your product. Refund requests outside of 30 days will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Before asking for a refund, please be aware the following:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging (in the case where physical media - ie. compact discs or DVDs - were purchased).
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Please include an email address with your return.
- If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. A credit will be applied to your credit card within six weeks of receiving the product.
Damaged or Defective Items:
We will gladly replace damaged or defective items. While rare, there are occasional problems with manufacturing of CDs or DVDs. We will gladly replace any items that have been damaged in transit or arrived with manufacturing defects.
