Description
In this series, Dr. Bruce Waltke aims to teach you how to read biblical narrative and to understand narrative theology. He applies this knowledge to the so-called Deuteronomistic history and Ruth, with special focus on the books of Judges, Ruth, and Samuel. Since these books are concerned with the question of leadership in Israel, and more specifically with the question of kingship, these books offer a profound insight into God's ideals of leadership. In addition, the course aims to familiarize you with the structure and basic content of Deuteronomy through Kings.
