Earl F. Palmer is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and Princeton Theological Seminary. Since 1991 he has been pastor of University Presbyterian Church in Seattle, Washington. His other books include The Book That John Wrote, Salvation By Surprise, and Prayer Between Friends.

Michael Battle is Provost and Canon Theologian at the Cathedral Center of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. He is founder of the PeaceBattle Institute and served as Rector of Church of Our Saviour in Los Angeles. While he served as a research fellow in residence with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, he was ordained by the archbishop in Cape Town, South Africa. He is author of several books, including Black Battle, White Knight: The Authorized Biography of Malcolm Boyd, Blessed are the Peacemakers: A Christian Spirituality of Nonviolence, and The Wisdom of Desmond Tutu.

Cheryl Bridges-Johns is a past president of the Society for Pentecostal Studies, and is an active participant in the international Pentecostal-Roman Catholic dialogue. She is currently the Professor of Discipleship and Christian Formation at Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.
