Bruce Waltke is Professor Emeritus in Old Testament Studies at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the author of Genesis: A Commentary, Creation and Chaos, Finding the Will of God: A Pagan Notion?, An Introduction to Biblical Hebrew Syntax, and commentaries on Micah. He also served on the translation committee of the NIV Bible.

Ivan De Silva M.Div., Th.M., is Instructor in Religious Studies at Trinity Western University and Adjunct Faculty at Pacific Life Bible College. He has taught the Bible academically for twenty-five years and has led numerous study retreats, tours to the Holy Lands, church seminars, and small group Bible Studies. In addition to carrying a full teaching load, Ivan is also a full-time detective in the Vancouver Police Department where he has worked for the past twenty-five years. He and Dr. Waltke have recently completed a commentary on the book of Proverbs which is now at the editing stage with Eerdmans. His next project is to write a condensed commentary on the book of Proverbs for the The Gospel Coalition's Concise Biblical Commentary series.
