Description
Several streams have merged to create the passion and insight of Thomas, James and David Torrance. The depth of the ancient Church fathers, the heart-fire of the Reformers, and the revolution in theology spurred by Karl Barth have been joined to shape a moving description of Jesus Christ. These sources have in common the transforming power of our Triune God of Grace. It is out of this melding that the speakers of this conference discuss the place of Jesus Christ in the Torrance's theology. Lectures include:
- Who is the Incarnate Saviour of the World? - Andrew Purves
- Who are We in Relationship to Who God is in Jesus? - Gary Deddo
- The Humanity of Christ - Gerrit Dawson
- The Covenant Between God and Man - Alan Torrance
- T.F. Torrance on the Atonement - Elmer Colyer
- The Realist Epistemology of T.F. Torrance - Douglas Kelly
