Description
This course will study three controversial topics of the Old Testament. The first is divine violence. What are we to make of the picture of God warring against his enemies and ordering his people to enter the battle? The second is sexuality. We will examine and assess the patriarchy of the Old Testament as well as the Old Testament's teaching about sexual activity. Lastly, what does the Bible say about the creation of humanity? Is the Bible really in conflict with modern scientific theories?
