Description
The Beatitudes have an important role in guiding the church's understanding of Jesus' mission and message. As well, they are foundational to the development of Christian spirituality. They are to spirituality, therefore, what the Ten Commandments are to morality. This series looks at the eight Beatitudes as elements in preparing the self/soul for the perception and reception of truth. They constitute the "way" in which the "truth" can be encountered and then the "life" embraced.
