Makoto Fujimura is an artist and speaker, as well as Director of the International Arts Movement and Founder of the Fujimura Institute. He is a graduate of Tokyo National University of the Arts, and his work is exhibited at galleries around the world. He is author of Refractions: A Journey of Faith, Art and Culture.

Culture Care sees culture as an ecosystem, and applies what we have learned in Creation Care (of stewarding natural resources) to culture. In this class, we will examine areas of overlap between stewarding natural resources and cultural resources, and give theological foundations for developing Culture Care principles in each of the student's journeys.
