Dennis Okholm is Professor of Theology at Azusa Pacific University, as well as a part-time lecturer at Fuller Seminary. He is ordained in the Presbyterian Church and is a Parish Associate at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California. He is the author and editor of several publications including his most recent book, Monk Habits for Everyday People.

The intent of this course is to mine the riches of the monastic tradition that began with Benedict of Nursia 1500 years ago and to explore the ways in which it continues to nurture and deepen the lives of disciples of Jesus and the communities in which they live.
