Description
Progressive scholarship is discoverig that since the Enlightenment, biblical studies have somewhat ignored the reality that the Bible's narrative texts were largely experienced as performances in community. As a result, scholars have revived the age-old tradition recognizing the power of storytelling to take narrative texts from "then and there" and presents them as powerful is especially appropriate today as our post-literate, digital culture is secondarily oral.
